Donations are appreciated and keep this run going. Donations are used to help pay for event costs, ie supplies, improvements and certifications. Most of the funds are donated to Northwest Harvest. Donations are typically given
when you pick up your shirt or on Day Of Race.
Solo marathon runners need to email Race Director Barrick

First and last name, City and State, DOB, age on June 2nd 2018, sex, best marathon time, predicted marathon time
and T-shirt size if ordering one or n/a if not. Shirts are $15.00 and MUST BE ORDERED BY MAY 20, 2017. Pay for the shirt at one of the pre-race events or DOR, but PLEASE try to pick them up before race day.
Relay teams need to email their team name and participant names, this is mainly for the race results page.
NOTE Shirt sizes run S - XL for women and S - XXL for men. Please specify if you want a women's cut shirt. The women's and men's cut are running to size.
Need a place to stay? - Red Lion Inn, 25100 74th Avenue South, Kent, WA 98032 - within walking distance of the starting line (.4 mile walk on the bike trail).
If you mention you are with the Green River Marathon, Red Lion Inn will give you a special discounted rate and allow for a later check out time.
Need a place to stay? - Quality Inn, 1711 W Meeker St., Kent, WA 98032 - Airport Pickup and Drop off available. Ride provided to start of the race.

Green River Marathon and all volunteers are not responsible for any injuries or deaths. The Green River Marathon is a free run; the aid is free, the run is free,
the shirts are sold at cost, there are no bib numbers, there are no awards, and no one is paid. This is a low key run amongst friends. If you require special assistance or are unsure of your abilities please think twice about running 26.2 miles, unless you take necessary precautions. You must have medical clearance from your doctor before you begin any exercise program or running in any marathons. It is not our intent for anyone to get hurt while running the Green River Marathon.
