QUICK NOTES:

Congratulations to all finishers, but especially to the first time Marathon and Half Marathon finishers. GOOD JOB!

George Orozco - you are a superstar with your photos! Thank you!

Quote from an email from George:

As I was reading the past participants list, I could not help but smile as it looks like you and I know many of the same crazies in the running community.

Keith Collingwood: You still get my MVP Award.

Keith not only ran the course a few days before the race, but he also marked the course, ran an aid station, took pictures and I hear he even acted as a bathroom monitor.

Time now to sign up for our next week's race:

https://greenrivermarathon.com/.../2025_Green_River_Half...

Interesting notes:

We changed our course last Saturday - not going to Alki:

Some comments:

Thank God for the four out and backs.

The number of out and backs do not really matter to me.

Some days I like multiple out and backs and sometimes I like one.

I prefer fewer out and backs.

Final note on next week's race.

Marathoners have the choice of four out and backs or just one.

Tukwila To Alki Updated (01/26/25)

PLEASE KEEP CHECKING BACK - THIS YEAR'S (2025) COURSE HAS BEEN CHANGED.

AT THE PRESENT TIME, THE COURSE WILL BE FOUR OUT AND BACKS FOR THE MARATHON AND TWO OUT AND BACKS FOR THE HALF MARATHON.

The out and back course repeated twice equals a half marathon. ...And repeated four times equals a full marathon. The 3.3 mile turnaround will be clearly marked with an orange cone and sign. There are no road crossings. A porta-potty and hydration station will be at mile 3 at Cecil Moses Memorial Park.

Park in the Southwest corner of the "Park and Ride" lot.
